After hearing Britney Spears’s impassioned plea for freedom, I began following her case closely. I celebrated when the conservatorship finally ended, but when no criminal charges were brought against her father or his business partners, I launched the Justice for Britney podcast. What happened to Britney was a crime — and when the elite are not held to the same standard as the rest of us, justice itself is at risk. My thrillers are often inspired by real life, and I couldn’t watch a crime unfold without advocating for the rule of law. After several years and hundreds of episodes, I’ve shifted my advocacy here to the blog — where the fight for truth continues.
